How to make Limoncello Casablanca Style

Arizona’s Sonoran Desert is and always has been an escape for artists, entrepreneurs, adventurers and thinkers.

We’ve spent countless hours pouring over the history of the area known as ‘The Valley of the Sun.’ From what we can tell this is THE place to relax, unwind and explore.

Do you know the FIVE Cs’ of Arizona? Copper, Cattle, Climate, Cotton and……..Citrus! It’s everywhere!

Ashley makes an epic Limoncello! Here is the recipe below or watch the YouTube video “How to Make limoncello”:

9-10 washed organic lemons, peeled (just skins, not the white rind - very important)

750ml/ apprx 3 1/4 cups of pure alcohol (Everclear works well!)

2 cups of organic granulated sugar

4 cups of water

- peel lemons, place in glass jar/container, and add alcohol

- store in a dark cool place for 21 days

- bring water to a boil and add sugar until dissolved. Allow to cool completely.

- Strain the lemon/alcohol mixture and add to the sugar water. You will see the bright color appear.

- Bottle in sterilized, airtight jars in the fridge.
